The Sun Enterprise 6000 server can run extremely large scale, mission-critical applications in a network environment. The Sun E6000 servers enables you to build network computing applications of a size and scale that previously required mainframes. The E6000 server provides benefits of improved data access and flexibility even as your databases grow to multiple terabytes.
The Sun e6000 can contain up to 30 high-speed UltraSPARC processors, 30 GB of memory, and 30 I/O channels.
