The Sun Enterprise 6500 server is designed to run mission-critical, enterprise-wide applications such as data warehouses and ERP systems. With modular components the e6500 makes it easy to increase performance and I/O capacity in this highly expandable server. The E6500 servers unmatched availability features, Dynamic Reconfiguration and Alternate Pathing, enable you to add, remove, upgrade, and service system components to the Sun E6500 server while remaining on-line.
