The Sun Fire v880 ™ is perfect for remote offices, departmental environments, and as a complementary system for data center environments, The Sun Fire v880 ™ server is suitable for Internet and database applications, including e-commerce and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, messaging servers, and compute-intensive applications.
The Sun Fire v880 ™ rack-mountable or deskside version combines an advanced set of reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) features and supports two to eight processors, an integrated Fibre Channel disk subsystem, and a maximum of 32 GB of main memory for exceptional performance.
